Riham was born in Cairo, Egypt. Having had her basic education at American Schools in Saudi Arabia; She opted to study ART in Cairo Egypt, were she’s spent 5 years at her artistic studies at Faculty of ART, University of Helwan at Cairo, Egypt. Having earned her B.A. (ARTS) with highest honours (suma cum laude), University of Helwan at Cairo. Egypt (2001), Riham has achieved her MASTERS degree M.A. (ARTS), by thesis, with highest honours, Univesity of Helwan at Cairo Egypt (2006). Thesis “Contemporary Painting Trends related to Performance Art as an Approach to Enrich Expressing in Art”. Currently Riham is preparing to defend her thesis for a PhD (ARTS) -”Registered 2006″ University of Helwan at Cairo, Egypt. Thesis title “The Performance Art Philosophy Related to the Egyptian Community as a stimulation for Expression in Art Education” Seeking to strengthen and augment her practical artistic experience, Riham has worked as a Tutor at “American City College”, has been trained in Artistic Expressive Techniques at the Famous Cairo Weekly ROSE-EL-YOUSSEF Magazine (2002-2003). She also had many Artistic Expressive Courses at the Faculty for FINE ARTS at University of Helwan at Cairo Egypt. Riham has been teaching “Performance Art” at the AUC, American University at Cairo (2006). Currently, she is teaching “Art Performance” and “Art Appreciation” at the MISR University for Science and Technology -MUST- Riham wrote on artistic expressive work and performance: THE OTHER SIDE OF FACES “ed 2005″, an artwork, Artistic Concept, Artistic Design, Artistic Performance and Artistic Panting by Riham ElSadany, Photography by Ayman Lofty.
