Óscar Posada, nacido en Colombia en 1956 y afincado en España desde su matrimonio, cursó estudios en el Gimnasio Moderno y la Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano de Bogotá.
Posteriormente, estudió Fotografía y Pintura en la escuela de Jean Leonard en París.

Comenzó su carrera artística hace veinte años, habiendo presentado su obra en exposiciones, individuales en su mayoría, en España y Francia.
Siempre ha querido plasmar sus sentimientos y pensamientos mediante la pincelada rotunda y a través del color, de gran relevancia en su obra.
Utiliza espátula, a veces pincel y muy a menudo, sus manos.
