From 1975 to 2012 my paintings (www.jerrykool.com ) have covered a wide range of subjects, Portraits, Landscapes, Seascapes and Wildlife. Since 1990 I have been inspired by the stories from Irish Celtic Mythology – especially old Celtic Romances. These wonderful tales are the folklore of a people to whom story telling came as naturally as breathing, and even after many centuries still make fascinating reading. They satisfy a need that is deep in the human spirit.
