thanks for your comments Michelle. About exhibiting the same art work...I have a hard time navigating this site and sometimes I've made mistakes and entered paintings I didn't want to. I don't find it very user friendly, although I do like the concept.

En mis pinturas se puede observar
cierta melancolía por la historia del arte, por las técnicas
tradicionales, que pueden ocasionar como primera impresión un
anacronismo existencial. Un cierto choque entre el deseo por mostrar un mundo propio e individual y el deseo de las tendencias del arte contemporáneo. Todo cuanto excite la mente debe ser elevado a la categoría estética del individuo, del artista y no de la masa ansiosa de vomitar letras y conceptos en pro de la nueva moda, el reconocimiento intelectual.

Existe un suceso mitológico en particular, que ha cautivado mi interés para la primera serie de pinturas que he desarrollado. En este mito un dios se metamorfosea en cisne y ultraja a una mujer, dando origen a dos huevos en uno de los cuales se gesta Helena… Solo un gran culo es capaz de transfigurar un dios para engendrar la belleza…; la dicotomía entre lo divino y lo mundano, la belleza y lo irrelevante, el peso o la levedad…. Son cuestiones que vienen desde Parménides, pero que en ocasiones se pierde la noción de en qué momento uno y otro poseen el carácter de positivo y negativo.
